Leaving Solomon's Island
Jeez, I wish we had the money to have this boathouse!
I can only imagine the boat inside.

On the way south - 0900 hoursish

Seas the Day!
20 knot sustained wind
32 knot max blow
4-6' seas average
peak at 8'
Speed averaged 8.0 knots for the day
A nice little ride coming down a wave
at 12.2 knots - flyin' !!!!
And oh, used another 10 gallons all day!

Another cold one - 32 degree wind chill
Needed the sleeping bag.

Sunset at anchorage
Just south of the Rappahannock River, VA

Kinda rough, where the Potomac River meets the Bay.
We had a nice following sea down the Bay but waves
were coming down the Potomac making us feel like we
were in a blender at medium speed.
Had to take her off autopilot to ride down the
erratic and sometimes confusing seas.
