A rare vertical. double refraction sunrise
The tides in these parts run up to 9 feet high.
Which means the current runs sometimes
3 and 4 knots (ebb - going out & flood - coming in)
Beaufort, NC harbor
Catamaran - No Sails - Engines
Birds on a tower flock together
Still a bit nippy with the jacket
20 miles south of Charleston
What in the world were these power lines
doing in our sunset
Filled up with diesel, gasoline, water, trash off.
Lynn walked into town in search of milk, bread,
and Snickers bars. Came back with pork, beef,
french bread, and salads. Can't find milk!!!
Lynn said we would spend time in the town of
Beaufort next year.
