Today on FB I found this post from a good friend of mine so I am pasting this for her
and all of us out there that need it !
Did you know the people that are the strongest are usually the most sensitive? Did you know the people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to get mistreated? Did you know the ones who take care of others all the time are usually the ones who need it the most? Did you know the 3 hardest things to say are I love you, I'm sorry, and Help me. Sometimes just because a person looks happy, you have to look past their smile and see how much pain they may be in.
Key West Sailboat Week
From land, the sailboats just appear to back and
forth in a straight line.  From the local paper, there
are no other boats out there watching the races.
So we don't know who is watching these races.
We looked at this photo longer than we actually
watched them race.

 We bicycle around most days.
This is a handmade door to someone's
back yard.

Mel & Jo called and said they were on their
way over with a couple of friends via kayak !

Their arrival !  We had to bring out the loud
horn to get them to the boat!  They didn't know
what Storymaker looked like from the front, only
the back...they were making new friends all over
the place trying to find us !!

Meet Debby & Jim

Meet Rodney next to Jim
Retired army guys

Jo & Mel
Mel telling another one of his fish stories :0)

They are headed back after a couple of brewski's !!
Paddling askew!

Mel and Jo in perfect unison!
Mel said he has Jo sit in front of him because
when she sat behind him, he caught her loafing
a few times not paddling.

THEN!
We went over to Gary's & Janie's for Happy Hour
(there were many happy hours for a Friday)

Jazmine is so spoiled!
I did everything to get her to eat this
treat out of my mouth....

I even put extra dip on it !!! but in the end.....

She won!  She held out until I put it in my hand !!

A couple of silly gurls having a happy time!

Sunset from Dream Catcher

Peeper !!

Look at all the great mail I got today!!!
Birthday Cards, Christmas Cards, Wedding invites...
It's like Christmas all over !!!
With our mail forwarding service, it sometimes takes
2-4 weeks for us to get our mail.
(it's sort of like the old Pony Express!)

Once again, life proves that quite often the "unexpected" turns into the best of days!  Bob called Mel from town on his bike ride and Mel said he was bringing over his RV park gang by kayak!  No problem there.  We watched as they emerged from Sigsbee Island just outside the mooring field.  Bob and I finished a half drink each while we watched them go to 2 other boats.  They had only been to our boat from the stern and didn't know what our boat looked like from the bow.  We finally pulled out the air horn and gave them a blast.  Mel & Jo brought their friends Jim, Debby, and Rodney along with a gift of a few local, "Key West" beers for us to enjoy.  After an hour and a half of again, telling sea stories, they plowed through the water into the wind and waves to get back.
The first Happy Hour was over.

Then we invited ourselves over to Dream Catcher to see Gary, Janie, and Jasmine.  We did bring a bottle of rum for them!  More sea stories for the next 2 hours, a spectacular sunset, made plans for Saturday's Rat Key (Pee Pee Island) potluck, and a pleasant ride back to Storymaker.

Bob cooked up some beefs and I made the appropriate bunnages for them.

Then we were in bed at 7:30 pm
(no more Double Happy Hours!)
