We got into Zippy this morning and found this
little guy on the floor.  The dinghy was hanging
3 feet from the davits for the night.  He was truly
a flying fish jumping that high in the blackness
of the night.

Bob and I rode our bikes to K-Mart to look at
camera's and bikes - we picked up Xmas lights and
forgot all about the camera and bike so I went back
in to look at them while Bob made phone calls

Jelly!
Just one of the many types of sea life down here

This boat has been abandoned so the birds have
taken it over - they are right behind us !
White bird poo was absolutely everywhere!

Jack and Shelly made us do this !

Bob and Lynn made Jack and Shelly do this !

Lynn & Bob at Garden of Eden before we got kicked out ?!!?
(Editor's note - this is now the 2nd time Lynn has gotten
us kicked out of a bar.  The first time was at Seacret's
in Ocean City.  We had just arrived, not 200 feet inside,
when she tripped over a really small sandy mound.
They thought she was toasted, but wasn't, and told
us the drunk had to leave)
No pictures allowed, I tried to take one, and ...

...this guy kicked us out and took my crappy new camera from me !
However, I was able to re confiscate it -
now I have to return it because it's crappy !

This bird loves me -

Today was quite an eventful day.  We took a bike ride to K-Mart and forgot what
we went there for (hey, we are on island time).  I did buy a camera but it takes terrible
pictures so it will go back tomorrow hopefully.  After shopping we went and met the Franklin's at their place on Duval St.  They had the A/C cranked up which was nice on this 82 degree day.
We knew it was going to be a long night so we already planned on spending the night.
We went to Mallory Square and did that scene for a couple of hours, watching the crowd, the street
vendors, and perfect sunset.  Then we did some shopping at the local boutiques on Duval Street
and from there we did the dancing scene. We went to the Garden of Eden which is on top of The Whistler, and then onto Coyote Ugly's.  We actually stayed out until midnight which is a trip record.

  1. What fun! We really enjoyed Mark's (the unicycle juggler) patter when we were there in October. "Come see the juggler set himself on fire!! It's a great trick, but I can only do it once!!!!!"

  2. Chazer - The performers down there seem to change quite often. We were looking for the guy we saw last time we were here that had cats that did tricks, but he wasn't there. Another guy had a banjo with a dog that picked up the tips in his mouth and dumped them in a 5 gallon bucket. That wasn't as impressive as jugglers setting themselves on fire, on purpose - B

  3. I've heard about Catman, but never seen him. It's fun to watch everything again thru your eyes - I'm really missing the Conch Republic now!
