There should be a law that all roofs (rooves) should
have smiley faces or some such on their roofs
so everyone is happy all of the time

I don't think I have ridden a bike any distance since I was in
5th grade (as a general rule I like my 2-wheeled
vehicles to have motors). But I am getting into this
and maybe I'll lose a couple of lbs. It surely is fun
riding on the residential streets looking at all of
the houses, greenery, and now Christmas decorations.
Coming back at night is surely quite splendid with
all of the Christmas lights around the historical houses
and numerous palm trees and other exotic plants & trees.
We yakked a Christmas tree from Home Depot
to Zippy almost 3 miles round trip. We threw the dice
at The Depot, since the tree was already wrapped,
we went with it. We dinghyed the 7' Doug Fir back to
the boat and we put her in a pot of water. The unveiling
on Thursday will show how silly we may have been
without looking at her first.
Mo's new restaurant just down the street.
We can't wait to see her!
We missed the Raven's today, so we watched
the Steelers/Dallas game at Shanna's Irish Bar
(Shanna's is the only "Official" Steelers bar in Key West!)
We met the President of the Piermont, NC Steelers Fan Club
(Michael) and he invited us to join! We said the magic words
and became members! He bought us a shot, we
booed the Cowboys, and suddenly we were heroes!
Dave Cox and I bouncing off the shot from Michael,
the President of the Steelers Fan Club
We really don't know any of these people,
but they're Steelers fans!!!! Steelers fans!!!!
We gotta stop all this running around and shopping shithe. Went back to Kmart to
return the crappy and worthless bicycle lights, bought better ones, some more
Christmas decorations, picked up the Christmas tree at Home Depot, and
schlepped all back on the dinghy to the boat.
The highlight of the day was riding our bikes to see Big Daddy Dave Cox from
Bel Air, MD that I have known for years from the fire company. We bonded over
the Steelers and Irish beverages. We lost, but there is next week. Unfortunately,
he won't be here next week. But he wants to be here next week.
