We had a plan today; to see the Boat Parade
at Schooner's Wharf with Dave Cox, his brother
and wife and their friends.
On the way to town at sunset
Our first view of some blue lights on the old style
ship anchors and a Christmas tree made up of
lobster traps, garland, and lights
An old dinghy painted numerous, numerous times
Walkabout back to the lobster trap tree
Dave Cox and gang were somewhere
We saw the parade on the way out of the harbor
Palm trees on sail masts
On the way home. B & B decorated for Christmas
Trip to Kmart to get Lynn's bike. Lynn walked past Home Depot on the way to Kmart
and bought a Christmas tree (she put it on hold for tomorrow pickup). I met her
at Kmart after tuning up my bike (couldn't have her pass me). We outfitted both
bikes with lights and met Dave Cox, his brother Doug and wife Ann, and Norm
and Gail at Irish Kevin's. They had just left the Conch bar and told us they saw Kenny Chesney there. We had just missed them by 10 minutes. Shoot - otherwise I would of gotten a picture of him for Robyn Harrington. I know what a Kenny Chesney fan she is!
There was a pretty good guy on guitar (and quite the comedian) at Irish Kevin's. We stayed
for a brewski and then headed back to the boat to freshen up.
We went back to town to hook up with the gang, but got sidetracked looking at all
the Christmas lights. We hooked up with them for just a bit. Lynn and I walked
around a bit more and saw the first part of the parade. We stopped by Paradise Pizza
for a quickie and then headed back to the boat.
We saw some people at the dinghy dock on the way back who were carrying their new
bike seats. They told us to make sure we lock EVERYTHING up on the bikes
as they had both their seats stolen last night.
So happy to have made some great new friends. We'll be following your adventures!
