When we pulled the anchor up today
this is how we found it - I
didn't think you could bend a heavy duty
anchor like this...

Bob checking the new anchor we put on
to make sure it was holding

Today we felt kind of a jolt and suspected
we may have hit one of the many "thousands" of crab pots
(Bob said it was a Gazillion - "there are so many out
here how could there be anything left")
that were out there - this is what we found
wrapped around our prop once we stopped for the night

Not a great picture but you can see the
dolphins in the water under our boat

We had 6 to 8 dolphins playing with our waves
today from the boat...yes, once again, this is
the best picture I could get !

We are at No Name Marina and a guy here
was cleaning fish.  There were about 9 Pelicans
here waiting for him to throw away the goodies

This is the bar where we met Gordon from
Middle River Yacht Club

It's Christmas time in Pine Key, No Name Pub !
No Snow Either !!!!

This bar had dollars, 5's, even some 20's
hanging everywhere.  Gordon said it was
approximately $76,000 hanging around !

Gordon and Bob

Pine Key deer - their average is small and
they are everywhere !

Meet Noelle - she a
Wiener Dog !!! and she loves me !!!

Maggie was having no part of Noelle sitting
in the chair with me and Gordon so she jumped
up in the middle of us !

We were up on the water by 0800.  It was another beautiful ride.  I got a
lot of cleaning done while Bob drove.  Once again there were a lot of hairy spots (no water)
but Bob handled it like a Charmed Captain.

We had our own little Seaworld out here today with the dolphins.  Bob saw them
about a mile out and they we jumping in and out of the water.  We think they were
feeding at the time.  Once we got to them they just swam right for us to ride
the waves.  It was so beautiful.  One of them was under the trampoline with 3
more of them and she just kept popping her head out of the water looking at me;
it was so mesmerizing.  They stuck around for about 5 minutes; we had put the boat
in idle so there wasn't enough action for them anymore !

When we dropped anchor we tried to use the one that was all bent up but it wouldn't
bite so we had to go to a different one.  It probably took us 45 minutes to get settled but
we finally did.  Once settled we took a dinghy ride into town to meet up with Gordon, from
Middle River, MD. It was great seeing him again.  He moved down here just in
the last week or so.  While here we borrowed his truck and went grocery shopping and
then went over to the place he was staying and sat around for a couple of beers talking with
Jeannie and Danny who are also from the Middle River area; and lets not forget the pups!

I'm hoping this week I will finally get a camera!  The phone just isn't doing it anymore!
