This morning when I got up
Rat Key Island

My sunset
Well today certainly started off better than the way my night ended last night! I was just thankful to be on the boat. I called Cindy this morning and she is a proud "grandma" of two more grandchildren. About a half hour after Steve & Cindy got back to their boat she got the phone call. Twins! A girl and boy delivered in that order. She was so ecstatic!
I also talked with Jayne and they made it through the night alright also. When Gary & Jayne got home their boat was pretty wet. They had left the windows in the salon area open so Jasmine could get some fresh air flowing through there. By the time they finished cleaning up the water it was 0500 and they were just getting to bed.
Steve and Gary went over to Rat Key Island this morning to clean everything up. They said Cliff & Kara weren't there so I'm assuming they headed home after the storm calmed down a little bit. But that wouldn't of been until at least 0300 hours in the morning! They had quite a ride, they are anchored out over by Wisteria Island (Christmas Tree Island). That's quite a haul!
I got up at 0730 this morning and was just totally exhausted! I did the blog and went back to bed around 1230. That didn't last long though, the northern winds are starting to come through a day and a half early which wasn't helping my attitude any! I finally fell asleep around 1530 hours and got up at 1800. The first thing I did was bring the dinghy up and secure it for the next couple of days of wind. I never made it over to the island so my stuff is still over there. Bob tried to talk me into going to get it before my nap, but I told him that wasn't happening! I just finished making the rounds around the boat and all looks secure. I'm ready for round two now.
