Slip Away
Steve & Cindy's boat
There last morning here in Key West
They are going to slip away to Ft. Myers today
Cindy flies out Wednesday, I believe, to
go home and see her new grandchildren,
the twins that were born on 2/14/12
during our Rat Key Island storm!
My sunrise this morning
Gary stopped by to pick me up to
go and say good-bye to
Steve, Cindy, & Chris
We're arriving
Steve's like...."I told you guys NOT to come
by for coffee this morning" now get outta here!
Cindy says "Don't listen to him, here's some brownies" :0)
Steve at the wheel....coffee's over!
Jay's like....sorry to see you guys go
But are you ready for me to release you now??!!?
Him & Joan are moving into his slip which is
a lot closer than where they are now from the dinghy dock!
There goes Slip Away
There goes Jay as fast as possible
back to get his boat! He already put a
fender on the ball to hold it until his return!
Slip Away by Guenter's boat
She's getting closer to the big open waters!
Bruce going to P.P. Island with Bonnie
Do you see Slip Away? Hurry she's slipping away!
Well lookie here "There's Jay & Joan's boat on
the mooring ball already! Slip Away barely slipped away
before they took it over!!
Welcome to the neighborhood Jay & Joan!
This little guy is headed in the wrong direction if he
is headed for the "sun tree"
My "sunset" tonight
But tomorrow night it will be "ours" again !
Today was a busy day for me. I did three more loads of laundry after we said goodbye to everyone on Slip Away. After laundry, Gary and I went to Winn Dixie to do some grocery shopping before our "other half's get home. Jayne comes back into town at 2230 hours tonight, and Bob comes in at 1430 hours...yeah!! After we finished grocery shopping we went to the liquor store to pick up some beer. It's the first time I've ever taken a grocery cart full of groceries into a liquor store to purchase some liquor. I think it was the first time for the woman who was working there to!
After that, I came back and cooked a couple of meat loaf's. I'm still trying to use up all the hamburger I bought the other day. 9.25 #'s of hamburger is a lot of hamburger when you don't have a freezer to store it in! But I gotter' done. Bob will have plenty of "beef" to eat when he returns!
I did a little cleaning but still have plenty left to do. There's always tomorrow...of course it will be before Bob gets home. Remember, "Home is where you're boat is".
