A bridge near Brunswick, GA
We had to come to a stop to let this tug
make his very wide turn!
These next several pictures are of how shallow the
water was in this particular part of the channel...between the
low tide (5') and the full moon (2') we were down by 7'
because of this we had 2.5 to 3 feet under the boat (for a few seconds
we were at 6" below the keel.....ask me if Bob was nervous then!)
Birds
grass
Birds eating into the mud
Just hangin'
and again just hangin'
As soon as we got out of the shallow water we hit
this! The currents were moving in two different
directions which created this foam and an interesting
ride for us for a few minutes!
Now it's Dream Catcher's turn
A boat next to Gary who is ready to catch some fish!
Bob hangin' in his "sailing huggie"
Our sunset that Bob missed!
We did 50 miles today; we are out in the middle of no where. We dropped anchor near Sepalo Island which is north of Brunswick. The weather finally started warming up around 1500 to the point where we could take our coats off! We had a lot of different scenarios going on in the water today; we were either in very deep water or very shallow water which made for an interesting day. By the end of it - both Dream Catcher and Storymaker owners decided we were too tired to hang for the night so we just stayed here.
Oh, by the way, Bob did a little "snuggie dance" on the bow for Gary & Jayne just to let them know we were thinking of them :0)
