This morning prior to leaving we saw 3 manatee's
As usual, I did not have my camera in hand
so couldn't get a good shot of them...but I'm still
showing off what I have !

Kayaker doing his thing
The channel was very narrow here
and he was waiting for all the
boats to get by
Uh oh - I think the owner of this
boat may have issues !

We're coming into Daytona Beach here
The bushes were dead
but the birds evidently loved it !

Meet Sherwood
This bird has the evilest laugh
When I laugh at it - he laughs back at me
But - you don't want to try and pet him....
He's got a mean bite! I have a bruise
on my fingernail to prove it !!
Our sunset at the condo
This is a HUGE house across the ICW from Gordon's condo
If it wasn't for the bandit face and great disposition
this could be Snickers

Today was another great day on the water. The weather was gorgeous! I did a lot of cleaning on the boat today. I even washed down all the stainless steel and all the windows outside. It's amazing all of the salt that is on the boat. I'm hoping to wash it down while here in Daytona Beach.
We pulled into the marina around 1700 hours and Gordon & Maggie were there to greet us. Gordon & Debbie made us a great dinner consisting of huge shrimp, gus, red potato's, and grilled bread! They had some other friends come over also, Andy & Sandy, and they brought strawberry key lime pie and boy was it good. Needless to say, we were pretty stuffed!
This is the first time since we left Middle River that we actually tied off to a pier. But hey, it's free thanks to Gordon! Going to stay for a couple of days here, no since in rushing north when the weather is so beautiful here! Besides, I have fresh water and will probably wash down the boat for hours tomorrow! Can't today, we have green beer to drink and corn beef and cabbage to eat !
