This morning Jayne & Jasmine stopped by to say good-bye

Both Dream Catcher & Storymaker in the same shot

Gary, Jayne & Jasmine at Flagler Island

Us headed towards the ocean; lots of activity here

This is for Derek & Shelly :0)

We're in the Atlantic Ocean again.

Scenic view

We are about 1 mile from the coast at this time

The ocean was generally 3-5' seas but we had
following wind, current and seas which made for a
very enjoyable ride !

This is a beautiful boat...

...that passed us on the way....couldn't get
his name....too far under water !

Just more beauty

How the water was while we were out

Bob at the wheel wearing his inflatable life jacket

Now we're 2 miles out

Look how beautiful the color of the water was.
This was taken from our escape hatch window
in our aft stateroom. "Nauti Dreams."

We're coming into Ft. Lauderdale now
Some crazies coming out to do some fishing

I'm not sure what this guy is doing...he passed us on the way
over...we see him coming back out of Ft. Lauderdale so figured he
was on his way out again...then all of a sudden he changed his mind
with good cause...turned around and but now he's headed into the wall !

This guy was coming out maybe he felt a little claustrophobic
with him and us at the same time ?!?

But the other guy, maybe he was just a little,
 "Outta Control"
Pun intended !

Us coming through the bridge with everyone else
at the same time both coming and going !!
The ocean stirred up some sediment in the port
fuel tank.  After a bit, this sediment shut the engine
down, so we went through the bridge and up to the
anchorage with only one engine.

Once we got around the bend it quiets down
tremendously

More yachts at rest !

This guy came in just before us
He needs two tug boats to put him in his
parking spot !

Pirate Ship !!

From the back

They even have a pirate attacking their ship !

Cruise Ft. Lauderdale

Another mega-yacht

Check out his dinghy from the port side !
It has hydraulics to move the 35 foot boat out from
inside to the side of the yacht.

and another....

Anyone need a ride on the water taxi?
See the pup ?!!?

Good day, good, good day.  You never know what the ocean will bring, but with following seas, current, and wind we just smoked about 7.7 knots the whole way.  Our top speed was 11.3 knots, our slow spot in the trough was 6.1 knots.  I napped a bit while Bob drove.  He was just having a ball going up and down the waves.  We made record time from Miami to Ft.Lauderdale with perfect conditions.

We dropped hook again in Middle River at Ft. Lauderdale, the same spot we dropped on the way down.  Having only one engine was a challenge trying to find the sweet spot to drop the hook.  However, we did get it down then immediately napped until 1730 hours.  Bob took a dinghy tour around Ft. Lauderdale while I continued the nap.  A calm, beautiful sunset was the perfect ending to the day.  Bob changed the fuel filter and we were running once again ready for the 18 bridges we will need to go through tomorrow.
